Erika Taguchi is a fantasy artist and illustrator who uses traditional methods to achieve a dreamlike quality in her work, exploring nature, whimsy, and storybook-like narrative. Her style is shaped by a love of classic children’s book illustration, animation and film, and vintage science fiction and fantasy book covers. Born in Japan and raised across places like Germany and Washington, D.C., Erika now calls South Florida home, where she graduated from the Art Institute of Fort Lauderdale. She attends conventions including DragonCon, GenCon, and Illuxcon, along with a handful of art fairs across the Southeast. Erika has won awards at DragonCon and GenCon, and her work has appeared in Spectrum: The Best in Fantastic Art and Infected by Art.
